Aspects of the Divine Mother

In the beginning gods and goddesses created the Heaven and Earth…

“In the beginning Elohim created the Heaven and Earth.”
-Genesis 1:1.

Elohim is a Hebrew word that means gods and goddesses. A complete understanding of theology, religion, philosophy, and mysticism is only possible with both the male and female.

The male force is active and has a role to fulfill, and the female force is receptive and also has a role to fulfill. The cooperation of those two forces results in the creation of all things, but the Divine feminine force can be subtle and has often been neglected.

Universal Divine Feminine

The Divine Mother exists in every religion as Mother Mary, Kali, Durga, Guan Yin, Coatlique, Isis, Maat, Fatima, Demeter and so many more. She can take any form because she is pure electricity, which is matter in motion. She is the fabric and intelligence of all existence.

She is the electron in each atom that determines which element it will become, she is movement, the divine force of Love which allows all things to exist, to grow and to transform.

“The Cosmic Mother has no form, but will take on any form in order to answer the supplicant. She can present herself in the form of Isis, Rhea, Cibeles, Tonantzin, Mary etc. When the Divine Mother has given her answer to the devotee, she then disintegrates her form instantaneously, because she no longer needs it. The Divine Mother is not a woman, nor is she an individual. She is in fact an unknown substance. Any form that she takes disintegrates afterwards- that is love.”
-Samael Aun Weor, The Yellow Book

The Divine Mother is the mysterious force that has the power to separate and combine, to transform, to give birth and to destroy.

“The ineffable words of the Goddess Neith have been sculpted on the resplendent walls of the Temple of Wisdom with letters of gold.  ‘I am she that has been, is, and will be, and no mortal has lifted my veil.'”
-Samael Aun Weor, The Initiatic Path in the Arcana of Tarot and Kabbalah

As Divine Mother Nature

She is all of creation, all of nature. She gives us a body with which to walk the path of life, and with it the opportunity to walk the initiatic path and create the internal bodies of the soul.

As Divine Mother Death

She uses her tremendous power to separate the essence from the physical body at the moment of death. She also is the key to mystical death when she separates the ego from the essence.

As Our Individual Isis

She teaches us the sacred mysteries of the temple, of internal spiritual development.

As the Cosmic Divine Mother

She is the creative potential of the Chaos known as Mula-Prakriti, the field from which manifestation is born.

She is the Fire of the Kundalini

The root of our sexual potency and of all our energies, the serpent that rises slowly vertebrae by vertebrae in accordance with the merits of the heart.

To love the Divine Mother is to love the path of transformation, to love all Beings as a part of her, and to feel her Divine force of love moving in all of creation.
